BLENDED LEARNING: After completing your registration and within a few hours, you will receive a separate link from the Red Cross to complete the ONLINE portion of this class. (If you register late at night, you will receive this link the next morning). This weblink is not sent immediately after registration. The online content is INCLUDED in the price of registration - you do not need to make a separate purchase for the online content. The ONLINE portion of this blended learning class MUST be completed before arriving to the in-person skills session.

CLASS TYPE: This class includes both Adult and Pediatric components, as well as First Aid, CPR, and AED components.

LOCATION: The location of all courses is Westerville Community UCC Church located at 770 County Line Rd, Westerville, OH 43081. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot. Enter through the front entrance and follow the signs to the classroom. Restrooms are available for your class.

CLASS LENGTH: Students will spend on average, 2-3 hours working through the online portion of the course. Online content may take longer or less time, depending on your experience. Your in-person skills session at the training site will last approximately 2 hours.

WHAT TO BRING: If you like to take notes, be sure to bring a pen, paper or a small notebook.

HANDBOOKS: Handbooks are no longer necessary to complete the course - you do not need to purchase any materials in order to take the course. Links will be provided to complimentary digital handbooks after you complete your class.

CERTIFICATES: All Red Cross course certificates are issued digitally. Shortly after completing your in-person skills session, a Digital Certificate will be emailed directly to you. You can print, save, download, or email this certificate as needed!

HEALTHCARE PROVIDER: Your should consider taking the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course instead of this Lay Responder course. The BLS provider course is required by most employers and schools for those in the medical field.
